What is this site about / What can this site do for me ?

This site is for the users of the computing resources of the Geosciences Department at the University of Houston. It attempts to provide answers to general and specific questions users might have about the computing facilities, provides access to services like FTP (File transfer), software etc. Use this site to learn about the computing resources at the department, get answers to common IT related problems. You can always send a direct mail to one of the IT support personnel.
