Mapping a shared drive onto my PC Account

2.      Then select a letter which is available (you want to select something from Z:\ backwards since USB key drives etc gets assigned the lower letters). So in this example I select “Y:” and then enter the path to the folder, in this example it is “\\geoscdom.geosc.uh.edu\geol4331_project” (of course, you need to know before hand what this would be), then make sure “Reconnect at logon” is selected (only if you are going to use this drive again next time you logon) and then click finish.
