Printing from the PC systems, color printer location

Regarding Printing Quota:

All students have been given a printing quota for each semester which is $25. It is 4 cents to print a Black & White page, $1.25 to plot on the large format HP Plotter and 85 cents to print on the Color printer. If you run out of credit, I will NOT give you more till the next semester, the only exceptions are if you are printing your thesis and need volume printing. You can easily keep track of your credit by looking at the little status window that shows up whenever you login to a PC in the lab. You can refresh this also and if will give you your current credit. Please keep track of this and print only what you need. This quota does not affect your UNIX printing because I have not found wastage from these areas, however if that changes we will be forced to enforce restrictions again.

You can print color by using the PC directly connected to the plotter/Color printer in the Multimedia Room (room 232). You can also print to the Tektronix printer upstairs in room 315 IF YOU ARE PRINTING for your thesis
