Forwarding my UH Email

If you hate using the UH email interface http://mail.uh.edu but would still like to be a cougar (keep your @uh.edu address) , there is a solution – Forward your @mail.uh.edu to the email address of your choice.

1. Go to http://www.uh.edu/dir_services, click on the left where it says “My Account” and then Login, for logging in you would need your @uh.edu email address and birth date (which is the password)

2. After you login you will see a screen similar to below,

3. Click on “Update your directory listing” and then you will see a screen similar to below,

4. At this point put your desired email address you want to forward all your UH email to in the “Forwarding e-mail:” box, and scroll down and click “save changes”, give the system about a day to register your changes and then all your @uh.edu email will be forwarded.
